These whimsical floral-backed lawn chairs were inspired by the increasing popularity of ornamental gardening.Simple changes were made to the basic Adirondak chair to meet our expectations of comfort and function. The chairs are constructed of unfinished sawmill-textured Western red cedar, with planed upper surfaces. When exposed to the elements they will age naturally, enhancing the grain and weathered color of the wood. The finish requires little maintenance; pieces are fastened with non-corroding screws. The chairs are lightweight and easy to carry. The hand-painted flower may wear and the wood may check for a naturally rustic weathered appearance. As an additional feature these chairs are easily stacked for winter storage.
At present, we produce floral chairs, tables, planters, rockers, settees, and window boxes. A simple footrest converts the chair into a comfortable lounger. Special shipping arrangements can be made for gates screens and swings.
